Charles Wang

Executive Editor and Director of Publication of “North American Journal of Medicine and Science” and “North American Journal of Medicine and Health”, Chief Information Officer and co-founder of ACMES, oversee and manage websites, founding Secretary and Treasurer of the society.Dr.Wang received his BS in Physics from Beijing University, his MS in Physics from Tsinghua University, his PhD in laser physics from Chinese Academy of Science, and his PhD in Chemistry from Boston University. After he worked at small pharmaceutical company and MIT Space Center as bio-chemist, he changed his career to software, he worked at Sunguard and DST International as senior Software Engineer many years.

Xylina (Xiaoyun) Wu
MS, Director of Business Development, Massachusetts International Trade and Investment Office (MOITI)

Director of Business Development Massachusetts International Trade and Investment Office (MOITI); Xylina–Xiaoyun Wu serves as the Director of Business Development covering the Greater China and is also chairing the Biotechnology efforts for the Massachusetts International Trade and Investment Office (MOITI). Since 2006, Xylina has worked with hundreds companies from Europe and China to raise capital and find partners. She has brought in Foreign Direct Investment to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in millions. Xylina also participated in Governor Patrick’s trade mission to China in 2007. Prior to joining MOITI, Xylina had 16 years of working experience in the biotechnology field and had held management positions at various levels. In addition to her full time job, Xylina is active in community services in the Greater Boston area. In 1999 she served as the principal and from 2000 to 2004 on the board of directors at the Newton Chinese Language School. She is a founder of the Wellesley Chinese Language School. Xylina obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree from Shandong University in China and holds a Masters in Science from Niagara University/Roswell Park Cancer Institute at Buffalo NY and a Masters in Education from SUNY at Buffalo.

Zhao Liu
MD, MS: Medical Director of ACMES

Department of Endocrinology, Berverly Hospital.Dr. Liu is a Medical Director of ACMES, Endocrinologist and physician nutrition specialist, Department of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Beverly Hospital, Northeast Health System. Dr.Liu received her medical degree from Beijing University in Beijing China, and earned her Master of Science degree in Physiology and Biology at University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. She completed her internship and residency at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She also completed her Endocrinology and Nutrition Fellowship at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Liu is board certified both in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and in Nutrition. Dr. Liu has written several publications and abstracts, which have been presented at the ADA, AACE, as well as the ACP-ASIM National Meetings. She was awarded the Boston Medical Center Resident CREST Scholarship from NIH for clinical research training. Dr. Liu currently practices in Beverly hospital at Danvers as a staff endocrinologist.

Raymond Zhou
M.D. PhD, Vice President

Dr. Zhougraduated from Fujian Medical University, Beijing Medical University and University of Iowa, he has been working as Attending Physician of Internal Medicine, Assistant Professor of Medicine at UMass Medical School and Umass Medical Center, he also has his own private clinic in Shrewbury, MA. Dr.Zhou serves as vice president of ACMES and actively involved in Sino-American medical exchange programs, teaching and community educational services.

Calvin Pan
MD, PhD; FACP, FACG; Senior advisor and Core member of ACMES, associate editor of NAJMS

Dr. Pan is Professor of Medicine,Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology, NYU Langone Medical Center, New York University School of Medicine, New York, New York, USA. He received his medical degree from Guangzhou Medical College, finished his medical residency in The Albert Einstein College of Medicine and fellowship in Gastroenterology in State University of New York at Stony Brook. Dr.Pan has been a well-known hepatologist specialized in viral hepatitis and chronic liver diseases. He serves as principal investigator for many clinical trials and he has been invited as speakers for national and international liver conference and numerous hepatitis CME programs. He has been invited as reviewers and editors for several well know journals and serves as leader for several medical organizations. He received many awards including National Leadership Award by National Republican Congressional Committee 2002, American Top Physician honored by Consumers’ Research Counsil of America 2004. He was elected as Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology. He has been a core member ACMES, associate editor for North American Journal of Medicine and Science, co-Acting Chief Editor for our recent special hepatitis issue.

Danru Lee
MD, PhD. Executive Director of ACMES

Dr.Lee graduated from Jilin Medical University, obtained her PhD in Neuroscience from University of Rochester of NY. Dr.Lee is the attending physician of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, clinical instructor of Harvard Medical School. Dr.Lee has major interest in integrative medicine, she graduated from University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Integrative Medicine.

Hon Ho
M.D., M.P.H.

Dr. Ho is an Attending Pediatric, Adult, and ECT Psychiatrist at the MassGeneral for Children at North Shore Medical Center. At McLean Hospital, he is an Instructor in Psychiatry at the Harvard Medical School. Dr. Ho was a Fellow Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Johns Hopkins Hospital, after his Psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado. Dr. Ho was honored as a Janssen Resident Psychiatric Research Scholar by the American Psychiatric Institute for Research and Education. His research areas included substance abuse and pathological gambling. Dr. Ho previously did epidemiological research at the Oregon Public Health Department. He earned his M.D. and M.P.H. degrees (Epidemiology and Biostatistics) from the Oregon Health & Science University. Dr. Ho also holds a B.A. in Economics, a B.S. in Biochemistry, and a B.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematical Sciences from the University of Washington. He is executive committee member of ACMES and To cure autism institute.

Jie Zhou

Dr. Zhou is a staff anesthesiologist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital. He was previously trained in neurosurgery in China. He came the United States after a neurosurgery fellowship in Japan. He continued on with an Anesthesia residency and fellowship at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, and stayed on as a staff. Dr. Zhou also holds a master's degree in medical informatics and an MBA.He is executive committee member of ACMES and North American Journal of Medicine and Health.
