Martin Wonsiewicz

Martin Wonsiewicz, CEO of PMPH-USA, Ltd. Started in January 2008, PMPH-USA is the wholly owned US company for the People’s Medical Publishing House. His career began as a bookstore manager at Vanderbilt University then as a sales representative, marketing manager and editor at WB Saunders (now part of Elsevier). At Saunders he worked with Arthur Guyton on his Textbook of Medical Physiology, 12e; Abul Abbas on Cellular & Molecular Immunology now in its eighth edition, Mark Swartz, Textbook of Physical Diagnosis, seventh edition and others in the basic sciences and clinical medicine. After leaving W.B. Saunders, Wonsiewicz held editorial management positions with Appleton & Lange and was Vice President & Publisher for the McGraw-Hill Medical Group in New York. His books included Eric Kandel,’s Principles of Neural Science , Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine, Fitzpatrick’s Dermatology in General Internal Medicine, Adams & Victor’s Principles of Neurology, and Goodman & Gilman’s The Pharmacological Basis of Therapeutics. Kan Liu
MD, PhD

Assistant Professor in Cardiology, Upstate Heart and Vascular Center, SUNY Upstate Medical University. Dr. Kan Liu currently serves as an invasive and non-invasive cardiologist in Central New York State, and the Fellow of American College of Cardiology (FACC).  He became the Director of Echocardiography Lab, Cardiovascular Center at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2010. He earned his PhD from the Departments of Internal Medicine and Cellular Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham  and his MD from Sun Yat-Sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, China.  Dr. Liu has been working on patient care and conducting basic/clinical research in cardiovascular disease in US for over 15 years. He serves as the principle investigator for multiple active research grants and nationwide clinical trails in US. He is one of authors of the prestigious clinical book “The Washington Manual@ Cardiology Consult”, and have numerous high profile publications. He is executive  member  and lecturer of ACMES.

 

Kaiwen Hu

Kaiwen Hu, M.D.: Dr. Hu is Professor at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and Director of Beijing Dong Fang Hospital Cancer Center. He graduated from Hubei Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1988 and obtained his master's degree and Ph.D. in Sino-Western Medicine in 1993 and 1997 respectively. His research is focused on developing new methodologies for treating malignant tumors. Dr. Hu is a pioneer in establishing a new model of cancer therapy known as the "green treatment", which combines minimally invasive surgery, Chinese traditional medicine, and various other medical approaches. Using this method, Dr. Hu has enabled effective treatment of patients who are intolerable for chemotherapy or radiation therapy.

Jingying Chen

Jingying Chen, MS, PhD, Professor, The National Engineering Research Center for E-learning at Huazhong Normal University. She got her BA of Engineering, Wireless and Communication Technology, Dept. of Electronics & Information Engineering, Huazhong University of Science & Technology, China, and her MS from Institute of Pattern Recognition and Artificial Intelligence, Huazhong University of Science and Technology and her PhD from School of Computer Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She has trained and worked multiple institutes in the world like Singapore Technologies Engineering Company, Singapore;INRIA-Lorraine, Lorraine Laboratory for Research into Information Technology and its Applications (LORIA), France; and School of Computer Science, University of St Andrews, UK and School of Informatics, University of Edinburgh, UK.Her research interests include: Technology Enhanced Learning, Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, Human Computer Interaction and Intervention for Children with Autism. She has published more than 40 papers in international journals or international conferences, and two books as well. Based on her research achievements, a computer assisted intervention system for children with autism is developed and patented. The system has been adopted by special schools with encouraging outcome.

Yu Jin

Yu Jin, MD, PhD, Associate Professor. Trained in pediatrics and psychiatry in Harbin Medical University. and Sun Yat-sen University. She obtained a doctoral degree of Psychiatry in Central South University Xiangya Second Hospital. Now, she is a clinical expert in diagnosis and treatment of mental disorder of child and adult. She is currently vice director of Department of Maternal and Child Health Care in School of Public Health, Sun Yat-sen University. Her research focus on early prevention and neuropsychological mechanism of autism She is PI for six neural circuit researches of Autism Spectrum Disorders, funded by National Natural Science Fund of China and other sources of fund. She is currently a youth member of Society of Child Health of CPMA and General Medicine Section of CMA. She held the post of vice chairman of Specialist Committee of Autism Rehabilitation Association of GDARD from 2010. In addition, she is editorial board member of Chinese Mental Health Journal, Chinese Journal of Child Health Care.

Wei Gan

Wei Gan, Associate professor of music performance and education specialty in the school of music, Central China Normal University. In Wuhan Conservatory of Music, she respectively awarded bachelor of music performance and music education master's degree in 1997 and 2001, also became the first one that achieved violin performance and education degree as a master graduate. She has won many awards in provincial and national competitions, and held lots of solo, ensemble concerts. In 2009, she achieved the highest award “Chutian Wen Hua Award ” in Hubei province art competition. At present, she mainly engages in music teaching and research work. Paying special attention to the intersectant trends between music education and information technology, and do the related fields of research. Started in 2008 she joined the national digital learning engineering technology research center team. As the core personnel of scientific research in digital music development team, she participated in national science and technology program, which carry out the research on digital music service integration and application, She takes the responsibility for the construction of music classification system and basic research engine. In 2011, she presided over the teaching reform and innovation project, experiment culture reform and innovation in digital music production. In 2012, she managed in program named Applied Research on Digital Model of Music Education. What's more, she has published more than 10 academic papers and 3 edited teaching materials, owned 2 software copyrights, which are digital music teaching tools in classroom and wisdom teaching simulated piano pieces and etc. . Newly planned to exploit music therapy theory, methodological exploration and related digital music software tools

Tad Pu

Tad Pu, MD, M.Ed. Dr Tad Pu graduated form Nanjing Medical University in 1987. After that he completed residency in child psychiatry in Nanjing Child Mental Health Research Center directly under the supervision Prof. Tao Kuo Tai and Prof. Lin Jie. Since 1993 to 2007, Dr. Tad Pu studied in Texas Christian University for Master of Special Ed specialized in behavioral therapy for children with special needs. Dr. Pu has worked 5 years in Fort Worth, Texas as a behavior therapist and special education teacher specialized in autism and developmental disorders. He has also studied Western Psychological Services’ series of psychological evaluation for children with autism and developmental disorders in University of Michigan (ADOS, SI etc.) From 2001 to 2007, he worked as the director of Rainbow Project in Hong Kong to provide behavioral and educational services for children with autism and developmental disorders. Since 2003, Dr. Pu has been involving in training child psychiatrists, pediatricians and teachers in the areas of autism and developmental disorders in many cities in China. He has supported to set up The Rainbow Model teaching program in Hangzhou, Suzhou and most recently Wuxi, China. In 2009, Dr. Pu set up RAINBOW CONSULTING SERVICES in Beijing to provide services to children with developmental, behavioral and emotional needs. Since then Dr. Pu and his team have worked with many children with behavioral, emotional and learning needs aged from 1 to 18 from both local and international kindergartens and schools. Since 2011, Dr. Pu has worked as child psychiatrist for Beijing Vista Medical Center and later joined United Family Hospitals in Beijing and Guangzhou.
